Staff Covid-19 Policy (updated 22 February):

If you have cold or flu symptoms:

  • Do not come in to work.

  • Please go to a Covid testing station and get tested. We are looking into obtaining RAT tests, but at the moment, you will need to go to a testing centre. If you need assistance to get to a testing centre, please let me know.

  • Please isolate at home if you have symptoms, are awaiting a Covid test result or test positive. Please let me know if you don’t have a suitable or safe place to isolate. We can look at obtaining support for you while you have to isolate waiting or test results.

If you test positive for Covid:

  • Do not come in to work.

  • The isolation period is 10 days before you can return to work. We can look at obtaining support for you during this period.

If you are a close contact (i.e. you had direct contact or were in a space where someone was identified as having Covid):

  • Do not come in to work.

  • If the case is someone in your home, you will need to self-isolate with them for at least 10 days. We can look at obtaining support for you during this period. If possible, try to remain even further isolated from them to prevent an even lengthier stay in isolation.

  • If you do not live with the person, you will need to self-isolate for 7 days. We can look at obtaining support for you during this period.

  • If you develop symptoms at any time or test positive, you will need to get tested and begin your own isolation period.

If you are a casual contact (i.e. you are linked to someone who may have had contact with a Covid positive case or was in the same space as a Covid positive case, e.g. you are one person removed):

  • You can come into work. Please notify me.

  • You do not have to self-isolate.

  • You should not get a test UNLESS you are showing symptoms.

  • At work, you should maintain your own bubble and avoid using common areas when others are present.

  • You should monitor your symptoms for 10 days. If you develop symptoms, see above.

Please be diligent and make sure you wear face masks, wash hands and use hand sanitiser frequently. You do not have to wear a mask at work if we can maintain a 1m distance. Extra cleaning procedures will be used.
